THEME SCRIPTURE: 1 SAMUEL 16:7
A heart is an organ hidden in us. No one knows what is in your heart except God.
It is like a tree. You can’t tell a tree until you see its fruits.
A good tree will bear good fruits likewise a bad tree will bear bad fruits.
Unless a tree bears fruits you won’t tell how good or bad it is.
The heart is like a tree.
God is interested in your heart not your wealth, property and possessions.
How is your heart appearing before God.
He doesn’t look at the great things that you have done but your heart.
You can do great things and yet your heart is not with God.
If you allow your heart to be overtaken by your mind, you will not do what is right.
God knows your heart, desires, thoughts, and secrets even if you pretend publicly.
Let’s fulfill God’s desires and not ours if we allow God to take our hearts.
Whatever you do in hiding or darkness, the Lord will expose you one day and it will be brought to light.
Let’s pay attention to God’s words and keep them in our hearts.
Guard your heart for everything you do flows from it. (Proverbs 4:23)
God wants our hearts to;
- Serve Him alone
- Seek Him alone
- Love Him alone
- Trust Him alone
God wants a heart that is humble and ready to serve Him.
The heart is deceitful. What the heart says, the mind straight away goes to it. (Jeremiah 17:9)
Let us allow God to take over our hearts.
Let us keep the word of God in our hearts. (Proverbs 3:1)
Return to the Lord for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and great of kindness. (Joel 2:13)
Let our hearts abide in Christ and obey His commands then we shall bear fruits.
For you to grow, you have to bear fruits in your heart.
